Our executive team comprises seven experienced senior advisers and six executive support staff. One of our directors will take direct responsibility for each of our client's transactions. The advisers come from a diverse background with experience in a wide variety of industries.

Our people have practical knowledge and direct experience drawing from the financial, legal, commercial and marketing industries as well as the technology, media, and entertainment (TME) industries, healthcare, natural resources and commercial property sectors.

Michael is the Chairman and a founding director of Terrain Capital. He has worked in the accounting and finance industries for more than 25 years and he has a broad range of senior advisory and project management experience in all facets of corporate finance. His primary responsibility is the strategic leadership of Terrain Capital’s business. Michael is Chairman of Lower Murray Water, member of Vision Super Pty Ltd, the Industry Fund Management Pty Ltd Investor Advisory Board and V-Line Passenger Pty Ltd Board.

 

 

Michael is the Managing Director of Terrain Capital. A qualified lawyer with more than 20 years experience as a corporate adviser, he has been involved with all forms of finance, including money markets, futures trading, lease finance, trade finance and foreign exchange. Michael has worked for a Lloyds broker in London and a number of major international companies including CIBC Australia, JP Morgan and Scandinavian Pacific Investments Limited.  Michael was a Director of D&D Tolhurst Stockbrokers and Tolhurst Corporate Ltd, and his experience in funds management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, equity raising and the general provision of corporate advice. 

 

 

Jim is a founding Director of Terrain Capital who has over 20 years corporate advisory experience, specialising in capital raisings, M&A and business sale transactions for ASX-Listed and private companies. Jim is responsible for Terrain Capital's wholesale capital raising services and has extensive knowledge of the Australian wholesale investors' decision making process and the strategies required to gain support from investor Trustees, executives and their Asset Consultants. Jim was a member of the Victorian Advisory Committee of the Family Business Australia and is experienced in advising family businesses on funding succession and exit strategies. Jim is also a non-executive Director of Dacland Management Pty Ltd, a successful Melbourne based project manager of land subdivision property developments.

 

Dominic has nearly 20 years of corporate experience covering a wide range of technology and related industries including; clean and other emerging technologies, software and energy.  He has extensive venture capital and limited partnership fund raising experience and is knowledgeable in equity and debt raising, business sale transactions and portfolio acquisitions. He has extensive UK experience and whilst in the UK he was a key member of a management team involved in the reverse takeover of a London Stock Exchange investment trust that was subsequently listed on the UK-AIM Market.  Dominic holds an MBA from the Melbourne Business School, a degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University and a diploma in Nanotechnology from Leeds University.
